• General accessibility and security improvements.
• Created an error page to explain why websites were unable to resolve, such as when there's a network or certificate error. The new error page explains that the web request errored and provides the error message, the unresolved hostname, and the timestamp. This is only available on The GoGuardian App 1.22.0 and later. Previous versions return an "ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE" message.

• Introduced support for adding Windows applications and their paths as exceptions via Registry Editor and Intune-based ADMX templates. Please note the following:
  
  • The new ADMX templates are available in Org Management and can be uploaded to Intune following Microsoft's steps.
  • Support for applications using WinHTTP is enabled by default. Please contact your GoGuardian Account Manager for more information.
    

Fixed

• Fixed a bug that allowed non-administrators to quit The GoGuardian App via Task Manager.
• Fixed a bug that caused the privacy bubble to create an overlay and prevent users from clicking on content beneath it.
• Fixed a bug that caused The GoGuardian App to generate duplicate certificates when a local certificate isn't present on the device and the browser makes multiple requests to the device for the certificate.
• Fixed a bug that caused concurrent app processes.

Changed

• Removed AppMonitor and moved the app-restart handling to ElevationService.
• Changed The GoGuardian App's logging to Windows Event Logs. Logs can still be captured from Command Prompt.
• Changed The GoGuardian App's configuration to only set a PAC proxy and leave the "Manual proxy setup" settings unchanged.
