Video Call Enhancements

On video calls, teachers need their students to be able to maximize the display of the teacher's webcam or screen share, especially since many students are using Chromebooks with a small display. Teachers don't just deliver instruction virtually by sharing their screen, they often present instruction written on a whiteboard behind them or by using props they've setup in their physical classroom. When a student hovers over a teacher's webcam or screen share, they will have the ability to maximize the display. This will hide other student and teacher tiles and allow the screen share or webcam to take up the maximum amount of space available. We also made some updates to the entire video call UI/UX.
