To give schools and districts more flexibility in customizing student safety response plans, Beacon 24/7 users are now able to pause Active Planning phone calls from Beacon’s Safety Support Specialists during specific time frames — such as after school, weekends, holidays, or summer break.
To do so, users can upload an empty CVS file to their Active Planning escalation list, and staff will not receive calls during that time frame. While phone call notifications are paused, users still have the option of receiving email and text notifications to ensure Active Planning alerts are covered. When you are ready to turn alert calls back on, simply upload a new CSV with your escalation list contacts.
