Co-Founder & CEO
Advait is CEO of GoGuardian, a company he co-founded with the mission of providing K-12 schools with new technologies that enable students to engage in a better learning experience by tapping into the power of the internet in an open, but safe way. Advait brings his passion for using data and technology to solve the world's problems to his role as CEO, and is dedicated to helping unlock student potential in education.
Based on his accomplishments in education and technology, Advait was selected: for the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Education in 2016, as a finalist for CTO of the Year for the Los Angeles Business Journal in 2017, and as a finalist for Ernst & Young's prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Greater Los Angeles in 2018.
Before co-founding GoGuardian, Advait was an engineer at Google where he worked with his teams to combine innovation with the power of scale, helping to launch key products, such as Google Pay (formerly Google Wallet). Advait holds a B.S. in Computer Science from UCLA.
Chief Product Officer
Tyler has led GoGuardian’s product strategy since 2015: singlehandedly designing, conceiving and developing GoGuardian Teacher and A.I.-powered Smart Alerts. His contributions, including envisioning and leading the development of the breakthrough suicide prevention tool Beacon, have fueled GoGuardian’s growth and affirmed the company’s products as the industry’s gold standard, earning multiple industry awards and endorsements.
With a decade of software development experience, Tyler founded two SaaS analytics companies prior to joining GoGuardian. He is an acclaimed thought leader, open-source contributor and public speaker on topics including UX, high-growth product development, education technology, and design thinking.
Tyler holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Merced.
Vice President, Sales
Teri leads global revenue for GoGuardian including Sales, Marketing, Channel, Customer Success, and Support. She is responsible for building a highly accelerated, sustainable and scalable revenue model. Teri has a proven track record of successfully building high-performing teams in hyper-growth industries, including: database marketing, digital marketing, marketing automation, mobile marketing, ad-serving and email. Prior to GoGuardian, Teri held numerous senior revenue and marketing leadership roles in SaaS, including Vice President of Sales and Customer Success at IBM Marketing Cloud (formerly Silverpop Systems Inc.), SVP of Sales and Client Services at Bluestreak, and SVP of Sales at Yesmail.
Throughout her career, Teri has grown several startups from early stages into global companies that IPO'd or sold to Fortune 100 companies (including IBM).
Vice President, Finance & Analytics
Dominic manages and oversees all finance, accounting, and business intelligence responsibilities for GoGuardian. Prior to joining GoGuardian in 2015, Dominic spent six years at Wells Fargo as a Vice President, first in the Leveraged Finance group focused on private-equity buyouts and distress/turnaround investments, and later helping the Technology & Venture Banking team expand its high-growth technology practice in the Los Angeles market.
Dominic holds a B.S. in Entrepreneurship and Economics from Babson College and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Vice President, Engineering
Sri is an experienced technology executive who has focused on building world-class engineering organizations across multiple domains throughout his career. As VP of Engineering, Sri is responsible for leading GoGuardian’s engineering team into the next chapter of unlocking student potential in education.
Before GoGuardian, Sri served as Director of Software Development (Data and Analytics) at Hulu, where he built the organization from less than 15 engineers to a global team of more than 100 employees across multiple disciplines and leadership tracks. Previously, Sri was Group Engineering Manager at Yahoo!, where he led several product development teams and oversaw the associated technology stack, platforms and the complete user experience for several of Yahoo!'s flagship properties.
Sri has served as an executive advisor to multiple startups and early-stage companies. He holds a B.E. in Computer Science from SRM University in India and a M.S. in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University.
