Scholastic Math Magazine has numerous articles my students can read that connect our math lessons to the real world. By using Scholastic Math Magazines I can help my students to see that reading about math can help them to answer questions about the standards being taught to them.
This project would help my students see the importance of learning middle school math.
It would also encourage my students to read more which is an important skill, even in math. Overall, all of my classes will be more engaging, as students will play an important role in their own learning with Scholastic Math Magazines.
