Our 3rd graders LOVE chapter books! They love having a copy of our current read aloud. It makes them feel like they are reading "real" and "grown-up" books. Each year, I love reading this book since it appeals to the third graders humor. They make references to it all year long and continue to realize funny things that happened in the book months later.
As we look towards next year, our team is collecting books to read aloud but we are running out of storage!
We would love to have a cart to store the class sets of books we have that we share with the other 3rd grade classes so they aren't just shoved in a cupboard.
