I teach a bunch of inquisitive 5th graders! In fifth grade, we really work on research, citing evidence and lots and lots of writing. Students love to research their favorite athlete, animal or historical figure or event. I would love to be able to provide a library full of diverse resources within our classroom that help in their fact finding missions!
A classroom library should be a treasure trove of fiction, informational, poetry, biographies and so much more!
Providing a library where my students can get lost in a great book, find research for a writing assignment or just learn something new is an exciting goal of mine!
