Now educators with Teacher Premium accounts can choose to turn Text-to-Speech on or off for passage-based questions at the assessment level.
This is helpful, in particular for ELA instructors who are looking to assess reading comprehension and don't want the passage read for the student. This scenario also arises in the state testing environment, so it will help with anyone preparing students for reading comprehension assessments for a summative or state test.
To activate this control, you can visit your test settings and use the toggle button to turn TTS off or on for the assessment.
