Brand Guidelines

We've created some handy guidelines to help you use our brand and assets without having to negotiate legal agreements for each use.


The GoGuardian visual identity is more than a collection of logos, colors, and typefaces - it represents our personality, our people, and our product. Our identity also represents the core values of our brand, from creating a safe learning environment for students to simplifying technology management for educators. As such, we ask that you respect the use of and show courtesy towards our brand asset library.

The GoGuardian marks include the GoGuardian name, logo, and "Shield" icon, plus any word, phrase, image, or other designation that identifies the source or origin of any of GoGuardian's products.

The GoGuardian visual identity represents our personality, our people, and our product.

Please don't modify the marks, change the colors, or use them in a confusing way, including suggesting sponsorship or endorsement by GoGuardian, or in a way that confuses GoGuardian with another brand (including your own).

The 2-color GoGuardian logo is only to be used on a white background, for either print or web use. Anytime the logo needs to be used on a dark or colored background, use the gray or white monochrome logo. For greater visual impact, the full logo should always have clear space around it equal to the width of a single section of the Shield icon.

The "Shield" icon should always maintain a space around it equal to 200% the size of the box created by the icon. The color version of the icon should only be used against a white background. If the icon needs to appear against a dark or colored background, the gray or white monochrome versions should be used.

The GoGuardian wordmark may be used anytime there is not sufficient room for the full logo to fit visually within a space, or if the Shield icon is already in use in the same area. The wordmark should always maintain a clear space around it equal to the Cap Height of the wordmark.

The full GoGuardian logo and "Shield" icon should maintain outer padding equal to 200% of the height of the box created by the logo or icon.

Minimum Size

The full GoGuardian logo should never be used at sizes smaller than 100 pixels wide for digital, and 1.5 inches (38mm) for print.


We love open source, and we love sans-serif. So when we discovered the Inter font family it was love at first sight. Inter is a sans-serif typeface crafted and designed for computer screens. Inter was designed with an upright stress, and a neutral, yet friendly appearance.

Inter is available in a variety of weights and styles, but we use the variable font version to best leverage all of its forms and nuance.
